WOW. What a week. Meditation is a simple way to support your inside self when stuff feels nuts like it pretty much does right now. After a way-too-long break, I'm back on the pod, medding with you. Brian Finkelstein discusses what goes on inside his "How to Hate Yourself" voice. Even though he ran the NY Marathon, has 2 Emmy noms and seems to win every Moth Slam, it somehow persists. INCLUDED is a  clip from a recent LIVE "How to Hate Yourself" show at the Hollywood Improv where he explains why he hates LA. He's very wise and I go so far as to compare his tweets to Pema Chodron quotes, to mixed results. Enjoy! You'll never feel sad again.

Jamie Bridgers is a writer, performer and mom to rock star Phoebe Bridgers. Her How to Hate Yourself voice takes her to all kinds of places including Taco Bell and an LA hotspot that has walnut shrimp.  We get into body issues and watch a young generation kick that critical voice in the teeth. This is a great one.

Shift happens. When we meditate we shift from head to heart, from thinking into being, from Ego to Self. And that's a really good thing.
